During the eighth edition of Gestion Copa Amsterdam, not only the top class under-19 teams play against each other to win the Cup. Also, boys and girls of grade 7 and 8 play to become ‘Cruyff Courts Champion of the Netherlands’. This successful national football tournament of the Johan Cruyff Foundation is organised and played at Cruyff Courts.
Thanks to the success of previous years the organisation of the football tournament and the Johan Cruyff Foundation extended their cooperation. In total, more than 1000 teams participated in the preliminary rounds of the national football tournament and the remaining teams play for the title at the Cruyff Court Finals 6 vs 6 during Copa Amsterdam.
SoccerID and SportsGen are satisfied with the prolongation of their cooperation. Sander Mallie of SportsGen: “For Copa Amsterdam, this is a fantastic event. The best pupils compete during the finals and for the visitors this is great to see. Last year it was a great success and that will be no different this year”.
